Stock market index of Vietnams capital Hanoi, HNX-Index, closed at 81.12 points on Tuesday, up 0.21 points or 0.26 percent against the previous trading session.

A total of over 34.009 million shares worth some 304.308 billion Vietnamese dong (some 13.65 million U.S. dollars) were traded at the Hanoi Stock Exchange on Tuesday, a decrease of 10.33 percent in volume and 7.53 percent in value against the previous trading session.

Prices of 87 stocks went up; 81 stocks fell down, while 79 stocks remained unchanged.
